On 13 March 2020, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc chaired an online conference on announcing integrated public services on the National Public Service Portal (NPSP), summarizing 3 months of operation of the portal and launching the Government’s Reporting Information System. The conference was attended by leaders of ministries, branches and localities from online conference stations across the country.
On the EVN side, Deputy General Director Vo Quang Lam attended the conference at the online conference station of the Government Office (Hanoi).

At the conference, the Decision was announced on awarding Certificates of Merit by Minister, Chairman of the Government Office to individuals and collectives who have made positive contributions to the construction, operation and opening of the National Public Service Portal.
For EVN, a total of 4 collectives and individuals were awarded the Certificates of Merit, including:
- Collective: Business Department of Vietnam Electricity
- 3 individuals:

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung - Head of EVN Business Department
Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan - Expert of EVN Business Department.

Many ministries, branches, localities and units, including EVN, have been praised by the Prime Minister for their efforts in implementing and providing online public services on the NPSP. Thereby, it greatly helps the State, the people and the businesses save time, costs and effort; contributes to anti-corruption. At the same time, people and businesses highly appreciate the convenience when applying the services via the portal.
In particular, the Prime Minister emphasized that the provision and implementation of online public services has contributed to strengthening the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. The people and officials of the service provider neither need meet face to face or make payment in cash, in paper.
With the NPSP, at the time of opening (9 December 2019), only 8 public services were implemented. To date, there have been a total of 161 online public services operated at levels 3 or 4.
Initial results of the process of building and operating the NPSP showed the interest and support by the people and businesses. By 11 March 2020, there were more than 2.9 million records synchronized in status; Over 13,600 online applications were made through the portal.
"We should do anything which is beneficial to the people, we should care anything which benefits the business, reducing costs," emphasized The Prime Minister. The Prime Minister instructed the related agencies to continue promoting the deployment of online services; not stopping at the achieved results, and renovate, improve processes, streamline procedures, simplify procedures, improve service attitudes, and create favourable conditions the NPSP.
With the public services integrated on the Portal, ministries, branches and localities must receive and settle any requires on time, in good quality, regularly reform, renovate procedures, improve service quality, and need to continue standardizing administrative information, data as well as records on the system, ensuring transparency and publicity.
The Prime Minister also directed EVN in the promotion of online payment, making non-cash payment.
For EVN, right after the NPSP was opened, EVN was allowed by the Government to integrate and provide 3 services.
On 24 December 2019, EVN completed connecting 12/12 electricity services of level 4 to the NPSP. EVN is the first State-owned enterprise to complete the integration, providing all power services at level 4 on the portal.
With electricity services, when making transactions through the portal, all documents and procedures of customers will be simplified and made convenient. Some documents such as: Power purchase request, personal identification papers will be replaced with user information that has been authenticated and identified by the NPSP. This will help people and businesses reduce the time when making transactions.
On the results of the implementation of electricity service provision on the portal, as of 12 March 2020: there were 362,661 synchronized records; 6,171 transactions made. The synchronized status of the records enables people and businesses to monitor the implementation process, evaluate and reflect on any issues of service provision of the power sector.
