A corner of Son Dong 220kV Substation
The Son Dong 220kV Substation and its connections project are invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), with a total investment of more than VND230 billion.
During its construction, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Bac Giang province and the Northern provinces from May 2021, implementation of construction work, moving of manpower, machinery and construction vehicles encountered a lot of difficulties. However, the project was put into operation as planned, promptly met the load demand in Bac Giang province and its vicinity in general, increased power supply to 110kV substations in the area and improved voltage quality, reduced power losses on the power network.
The completion of the project on schedule is a practical activity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Northern Power Project Management Board (1 November 1981 - 1 November 2021).
