The electricity market price remains at a high level

During late May and early June 2017 (from May 29, 2017 to June 16, 2017), the electricity market price stayed at a high level because the power system continued a high mobilization of coal fired thermal and gas turbine power plants.

In details, the average price of electricity procured from power plants at dealing times in the week from May 29 – June 4 was VND 1,173 per kWh (not including power system losses), after that it experienced a slight drop in the following week (from June 5 – June 11, 2017) to VND 1,090/kWh.

The transmission charge in proportion to power sales is VND 104 per kWh; the distribution and retail selling charge in proportion to power sales is VND 292.11 per kWh; the ancillary and overhead cost in proportion to power sales is VND 7.32 per kWh.
