AT2 transformer - Nghi Son 500kV Substation has been successfully energized
The project was started on 30 June 2020, by the National Power Transmission Corporation as the investor, CPMB was assigned to manage and operate the project.
The main scale of the project is the installation of two 500kV-450MVA transformers. Previously, the AT1 transformer was energized on 29 September 2020.
This is the first 500kV substation built in Thanh Hoa province intended to release the capacity of Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant, contributing to meet the power demand for Thanh Hoa province and surrounding areas, especially for Nghi Son economic zone and the North Central provinces.
