75kVA 35/0.4kV substation in Dong Ruong Hamlet, Kien Thanh Commune, Tran Yen District, Yen Bai Province was successfully energized.
Dong Ruong Hamlet is more than 3km away from Kien Thanh Commune headquarter, has extremely difficult economic conditions with mainly Tay ethnic minority group.
The project has the investment scale of 3.3km of 35kV transmission line, a 75kVA-35/0.4kV substation, nearly 2km of low-voltage transmission line and meter system to supply power for the households.
Each household in the village is supplied with wire from power pole to their house and equipped with a power panel and a compact light bulb.
Total investment of the project is over VND 4.73 billion, under the investment Project of power supply to off-grid villages and hamlets as approved by the People's Committee of Yen Bai province.
The project will meet the power supply demand for socio-economic development, step by step improve the people's intellectual life standards for ethnic minority group in remote areas, ensure local security and politics.
