Recently, the Tra My Power Management Team (Da Nang PC), in coordination with the local authorities, implemented a project to supply power to 52 households of ethnic minorities in the off-grid area of Tak Nhing village, C72 residential area (Tra Tap commune, Da Nang city).
Tra Tap commune is the locality with the highest percentage of ethnic minority and mountainous households without electricity in the area managed by the Tra My Power Management Team (Tra My Team). Specifically, Tak Nhing village (formerly part of Tra Cang commune, old Nam Tra My district) consists of 52 households, mainly ethnic Sedang, Mo Nong, and Ca Dong people. Under the request of the Tra Tap People's Committee to supply power to these 52 households in the underserved area, in the last days of September 2025, Tra My Team urgently deployed personnel, transported materials and equipment, and quickly "supplied power to the mountains, illuminating the villages," inspecting, connecting, and installing meters for customers.

The project was invested in by the Tra Tap People's Committee, with the power company coordinating the implementation. The project includes one 250kVA transformer station and over 1.7km of low-voltage power lines. Tra My Team installed 48 meters for customers, including the Le Loi Ethnic Boarding Primary School, the Anh Dao Kindergarten, and the KDC C72 village cultural house.
According to Mr. Pham Truong Vuong Trinh, Head of Tra My Team, this is also one of the off-grid areas that the government and the power sector are particularly concerned about. The power supply will open up opportunities for socio-economic development in the locality, contributing to improving the lives of the people.
