10-year imprint

After 10 years of establishment and development, with the attention and direction of Vietnam Electricity, Power Generation Corporation No.1, and the support of local authorities, the Company has effectively managed and operated three thermal power plants including Duyen Hai 1, Duyen Hai 3, and Duyen Hai 3 Extension with a total installed capacity of 3,178MW along with the seaport and infrastructure to serve power generation, contributing to ensuring energy security for the Southern region and the whole country.

As of January 31, 2025, the Company had generated and supplied to the national grid over 113.8 billion kWh, affirming the Company's important position and role in the Vietnamese electricity industry in general and Power Generation Corporation No.1 in particular; Contributing more than VND 10,600 billion to the budget, creating jobs and stable income for more than 1,000 local employees, contributing to gradually changing the local economic structure from agriculture - fishery towards industry and services direction.

In addition to maintaining stable electricity generation, the Company always strives to seriously and fully comply with legal regulations on environmental protection. The company has been active in social security and social welfare activities in the province with a total implementation cost of nearly VND 55 billion, through many practical and meaningful activities, not only spreading the fire of faith in life but also contributing to the community with profound human values, affirming their responsibility to the community.

With its achievements, the Company was honored to win the Third Class Labor Medal, and Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, along with many certificates of merit, emulation flags, and certificates of merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Commission for Management of State Capital at Enterprises, Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee, Vietnam Electricity and Power Generation Corporation No.1.

Chairman of Tra Vinh People's Committee Le Van Han said that Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company's contribution to the overall growth of Tra Vinh province in the industrial sector every year is huge, increasing from 15 to 20% every year over the same period of the previous year in terms of production value.

With these achievements, Mr. Le Van Han - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - believed that in the coming time, the leadership and employees of Duyen Hai Thermal Power Company will keep on promoting their good traditions, constantly renovate and aim for sustainable development; Maintaining safe, reliable, efficient and economical operation of power plants, contributing to ensuring national energy security; Taking care of the material and spiritual lives of employees, actively participating in social security and welfare activities.
