Under the agreement, the two companies aim to further strengthen their cooperation in promoting EEMC-branded products and expanding their reach among international customers.

POSCO International has actively supported EEMC in introducing and promoting its products to overseas customers and is committed to continuing these efforts in the coming period.

Beyond trade promotion, the two sides will further advance their cooperation in electrical steel. The selection of premium-grade, grain-oriented electrical steel with superior magnetic properties, combined with optimized transformer design and stringent manufacturing process controls, is expected to help reduce energy losses, improve efficiency, and ensure the stable and reliable operation of power transformers.

Having used POSCO's electrical steel for many years, EEMC intends to incorporate this material into the majority of its transformer products in the coming years.

The newly signed MoU provides a framework for EEMC and POSCO International to continue discussions and advance specific areas of cooperation, linking product quality improvements with international market development.

Through this partnership, EEMC will be better positioned to leverage its manufacturing capabilities, enhance transformer quality and efficiency, strengthen its competitiveness in the domestic market, and progressively expand its presence in international markets.
