EVN supports Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong people with VND 2 billion to overcome consequences of natural disasters

Storm No. 13 and recent floods have left heavy damage in many localities in the Central region. In the spirit of “mutual love and affection” and “helping each other”, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has allocated VND 2 billion to support people in Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
Over the past several days, prolonged heavy rains have caused serious damage in Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces. Many areas have been deeply flooded, and landslides have occurred; property, crops, and livestock have been swept away; traffic has been cut off, and people's lives have been severely affected.

On the afternoon of November 21, on behalf of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), Mr. Nguyen Cao Ky - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khanh Hoa Power Joint Stock Company, representing EVN, presented VND 1 billion to support Khanh Hoa province in overcoming the consequences of floods. The support was transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province to join hands with the locality to soon stabilize people's lives and perform reconstruction and building after natural disasters.

On the morning of November 24, on behalf of EVN, Mr. Phan Sy Duy - Party Secretary, Director of Lam Dong Electricity Company, represented and presented 1 billion VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province to support the locality in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. Comrade Bon Yo Soan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, represented the Committee to receive this support.
