For many years, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has implemented a program to support the construction of charity houses, temporary houses, and dilapidated houses, helping many poor households and policy households have safer and more stable homes.

Getting together for a better life

Not only focusing on the task of supplying power safely and continuously to serve socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security and people's lives, EVNCPC always considers social security work an important responsibility to the community. In the period from 2020 to present, EVNCPC has allocated nearly VND 116 billion from the welfare fund and contributions made by officers and employees for charity and social security activities, including building and donating 291 charity houses.

In 2025 alone, towards the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its establishment (October 7, 1975 - October 7, 2025), EVNCPC will continue to allocate an additional VND 4.9 billion from the Welfare Fund to implement the program of building 70 charity houses in 13 provinces and cities in the Central - Central Highlands region. Each house will be supported with VND 70 million, helping poor and disadvantaged households have a safer and more stable place to live.

In 2025 alone, EVNCPC donates 70 charity houses in 13 provinces and cities in Central Highlands region.

Sharing about this program, Mr. Ngo Tan Cu - General Director of EVNCPC emphasized: “EVNCPC wishes to contribute to building solid homes for disadvantaged families. In particular, the Central Highlands region is often affected by natural disasters and floods, so the housing support not only helps people settle down but also demonstrates the practical sharing of the Electricity industry with the community. We will continue to accompany the government and people on this journey, so that more and more families can live in solid, sturdy houses, overcoming the harshness of nature in this land of many difficulties”.

EVNCPC’s program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses not only helps many families have a solid house but also lights up hope for a brighter future. This is a testament to EVNCPC’s social responsibility to ensure a stable power source and always stand side by side with the community and share with those in difficult circumstances.
