EVNSPC promotes technology application, bringing convenience to customers

During the first 10 months of 2025, extreme weather conditions caused many challenges to the production activities of Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC). However, with synchronous solutions, especially by promoting the application of science, technology, and digital transformation in business and production, EVNSPC has ensured a safe, reliable, and stable power system operation, meeting well the electricity demand for socio-economic development and political and cultural events in 8 provinces and cities in the South.

As of October, the total electricity consumption in the areas managed by EVNSPC reached 70.66 billion kWh, up 2.59% compared to the same period based on the post-merger structure.

Indicators on business performance and customer services have met and exceeded the targets assigned by EVN. With a system of modern, multi-channel customer care platforms that keep pace with the trends of the digital economy and digital society, such as Customer Care Call Centers 1900 1006 – 1900 9000, Email, Website, Zalo, Facebook, Customer Care App, etc., EVNSPC has promptly met customer needs anytime, anywhere, enhancing customer experience and convenience, maximizing benefits for electricity users. 100% of electricity services are provided online at Level 4; 100% of transactions are performed electronically; the proportion of customers making cashless electricity bill payments reaches 99.99%, exceeding EVN’s target by 4.29%; the electronic meter rate of EVNSPC reaches 99.93%.

EVNSPC promotes new technology application in power grid inspection

EVNSPC also strengthens the application of science and technology and digital transformation in technical management and grid operation management through software such as PMIS (outage management, management of electrical materials and equipment, high-voltage grid operation management, etc.), Safety Monitoring software, mobile-based field applications, automation, and remote-control technologies. As a result, the SAIDI, SAIFI, and MAIFI indicators have significantly improved compared to the targets assigned by EVN; the accumulated power loss reached 3.45%, 0.25% lower than the operational plan; incidents on the 110kV grid and the medium/low voltage grids have decreased compared to the same period.

In communication activities and public warning regarding safe electricity use, safety measures during the rainy season, storms and high tides help citizens and customers avoid risks and accidents related to electricity, with frequent warning information published on the Customer Care App, Zalo Customer Care, and social media channels of the Electricity sector and EVNSPC such as Facebook, Tiktok, Youtube,…; at the same time, EVNSPC continuously warns about cases where scammers take advantage of provincial merger updates, electricity bill payment, customer care app installation instructions, etc., impersonating power employees to commit fraud and steal money.

Investment and construction activities of EVNSPC continue to be carried out drastically. Accumulated over 10 months of 2025, EVNSPC has commenced 49 projects and energized 86 projects, including lasting projects that contribute to strengthening the power grid infrastructure and improving power quality across its managed areas.

From now until the end of the year, EVNSPC continues to focus resources and implement solutions to complete production and business tasks, investment and construction, ensuring safe and reliable power supply to serve socio-economic development and the livelihoods of people in the last months of the year as well as in 2026.
