First female worker at Lao Cai PC to independently operate shift duty

Pham Minh Hang, born on August 20, 1986, graduated in Electrical Engineering Technology and Power System Engineering from Electric Power University in 2011. With her passion for the power sector and relentless effort, she has proven her competence and determination in a field traditionally dominated by men.
After years of service at Bat Xat Power under Lao Cai Power Company (Lao Cai PC), Pham Minh Hang participated in the qualification assessment for the Operations Duty Team position. She achieved the highest score of 8.5 out of 14 candidates, showcasing her efforts and eagerness to learn during her training and work process. After obtaining official certification and being ranked for electrical safety, she was assigned to an assistant shift position and was officially appointed to operate shift duty from February 24, 2025 independently.

For female workers, taking on this position is even more challenging, as it involves high-pressure working conditions, shift rotations, overtime work, and even night shifts, with strict safety requirements.
