Singaporean Corporation invests over VND 5,700 billion in wind power project in Gia Lai

The Van Canh Binh Dinh Wind Power Plant project (located in Gia Lai Province) is invested by Nexif Ratch Energy Se Asia PTE.LTD (Singapore), with a designed capacity of 143MW and a total investment of over VND 5,700 billion.

The Gia Lai Department of Finance has just issued an Investment Registration Certificate for the Van Canh Binh Dinh Wind Power Plant project to Nexif Ratch Energy Se Asia PTE.LTD (Singapore).

According to the certificate, the project will have a designed capacity of 143MW, with an average annual electricity output of approximately 391.8 million kWh. The total investment capital surpasses VND 5,700 billion.

The project will be implemented in Canh Lien Commune, Gia Lai Province (previously part of Van Canh District, Binh Dinh Province), covering an area of approximately 48.9 hectares. It includes components such as turbine foundations, a substation, underground cable systems, transmission lines, auxiliary facilities, internal roads, and an operations management building. The project duration is 50 years from the date of land lease approval.

The project will be executed in four phases. In detail, Q3 - Q4/2025, the investor will complete procedures for approvals, obtain the investment registration certificate, and establish a local economic entity.

From Q4/2025 to Q4/2026, focus on preparing the feasibility study report, signing agreements, and completing investment, land, and construction-related procedures.

From Q1/2027 to Q2/2028, begin construction of foundations, transmission lines, substations, and auxiliary facilities, as well as installation of turbines and equipment.

Q3/2028, project completion and commencement of operations.

Once operational, the project is expected to supply clean, renewable electricity to the national grid, contributing to energy security, supporting socio-economic development, and reducing power transmission losses.
