Attending the conference were Mr. Pham Le Phu – Member of the Party Executive Committee and Vice President of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), along with leaders of the Group’s functional departments. On the side of Thu Duc Thermal Power Company Limited were Mr. Do Thanh Tuyen – Party Secretary, Chairman and Director of the Company; Mr. Nguyen Tuong Dung – Deputy Party Secretary, Deputy Director, and Chairman of the Trade Union; together with officers and employees from departments and workshops.

EVN Vice President Pham Le Phu emphasized that although Thu Duc Thermal Power Plant does not have a large capacity, it is located in a particularly important position, serving as a reserve power source in the country’s largest urban center. Therefore, maintaining a high state of readiness for mobilization and ensuring absolute safety in plant operation is of key significance to the power system.

EVN leadership requested the Company to continue tightening operational discipline and technical management in strict compliance with regulations and standards; to strengthen inspection and monitoring of equipment conditions; and to proactively carry out repairs and maintenance in order to minimize incidents and enhance the availability factor of generating units.

In addition, the EVN Vice President noted that the Company should pay special attention to environmental work, review compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the coming period, study and propose appropriate technical and investment solutions to meet increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements, given that the plant has been in operation for many years.

In 2026, Thu Duc Thermal Power One Member Limited Liability Company will continue to uphold its role as an important reserve power source; focusing on improving the quality of operation and management, strengthening human resource training, accelerating digital transformation, and ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and production and business efficiency, thereby contributing together with EVN to fulfilling the task of electricity supply for socio-economic development.
