On 17 January 2025, Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company held the "Conference to summarize the work in 2024, deploy tasks in 2025 and the 2025 Labor Conference". Attending and directing the conference, there was a Member of the Party Committee, EVN’s Vice President Nguyen Xuan Nam.

Successfully completing task targets

Regarding the political task of ensuring electricity generation, the Party Committee of the Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company has focused on leading and directing the safe, stable, and efficient operation of the Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant, meeting the economic and technical targets. In 2024, the Company surpassed the targets on implementing savings and combating waste, operating the plant safely, stably, and reliably; all economic and technical targets met and surpassed the plan assigned by EVN. The total electricity output was 1,563.047 million kWh, reaching 135.4% of the plan assigned by EVN and equal to 117.6% compared to the designed output.

Despite many difficulties, with a high sense of responsibility to the community, the Company regularly coordinates with local agencies to carry out many social security activities. For example, giving gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties and poor and near-poor households in the locality, visiting people affected by storm No. 3, etc.

Not only managing and operating the system safely, supplying stable electricity for socio-economic development, Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company is recognized as an enterprise that fully complies with the provisions of the law on tax and is one of the leading units in paying the state budget in the locality. Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company contributed VND 306 billion to the state budget, equal to 161.6% compared to the same period in 2023.

Solidarity, focus on completing tasks in 2025

On behalf of the |EVN's leaders, EVN’s Vice President Nguyen Xuan Nam commended the results achieved by Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company's staff in the past year, completing 11/11 targets, growing nearly 5% higher than the plan assigned by EVN, contributing significantly to the Vietnam Electricity in supplying electricity to serve the country's socio-economic development, maintaining national energy security. In particular, Tuyen Quang Hydropower has played a good role as a multi-purpose hydropower work. The project's reservoir not only participates in regulating and reducing floods effectively for downstream areas but also contributes to supplying irrigation water for the annual Winter-Spring crop.

“Through the report of the Company Director, I highly appreciate the fact that in the past 3 years, Tuyen Quang Hydropower Plant has not had any incidents, ensuring electricity supply during peak periods and the dry season. That shows that the units have planned operations, and maintenance and implemented them carefully, in detail, and effectively. This is the highlight of 2024, a remarkable achievement of the entire staff of the Company”, EVN’s Vice President Nguyen Xuan Nam emphasized.

EVN leaders requested Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company to continue promoting the results achieved in 2024, joining hands with EVN to carry out the task of ensuring electricity in 2025. Some plan targets for 2025

• Electricity production output: 1,187 million kWh

• Completing 100% of the 2025 repair list to ensure quality and on schedule.
