The power line and substation project supplying power to Vang On village under the project of Rural Power Supply from the National Grid for the 2013 - 2020 period started construction on May 28, 2024. The project included more than 5km of 35kV lines, 2 substations with a total capacity of 175kVA-35/0.4kV; the construction of more than 11km of 0.4kV lines, and installing 145 power meters for households, schools, and cultural houses with a total investment cost of VND 13.5 billion invested by the Department of Industry and Trade.

Mr. Hoang Duc Tien, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said: "The construction process was affected by storm No. 3 Yagi, and the traffic terrain was difficult. But with determination and responsibility for the lives of the people here, with dynamism and creativity, the power sector along with the constructors have ensured that the national grid is brought to the village and each household on schedule, meeting the expectations of the people of Vang On.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and chairman of Yen Son District People's Committee said: "Recently, the district has invested in and coordinated to implement many projects that bring practical significance to the people of Vang On village such as: clean water projects, concrete roads from the commune center to the village, solar power systems and now the national grid power project.”
