In particular, EVN has completed five 500 kV network projects, seventeen 220kV projects and eighty eight 110 kV projects.
There included power projects is aimed at maintaining power supply to the South, for examples, Duyen Hai – My Tho 500 kV line, Ham Tan 220 kV substations and particularly Pleiku 500 kV substation which contributed to enhance capacity of the power transmission from the Central to the South.
Regarding power projects to ensure power supply for Hanoi, EVN has completed Son Tay 220 kV substation and a number of important 110 kV projects such as: construction of Noi Bai Airport and Mo Lao substations and upgrading capacity of eleven 110 kV substations to meet electricity needs for Hanoi.
In the last 6 months of the year, EVN directed the subsidiaries to: Ensure the progress of the projects in line with Sothern Power Center including Vinh Tan, Duyen Hai, Long Phu and especially Song Hau - Duc Hoa 500kV line; closely working with the local authorities, People's Committees of districts to solve the problems for the projects in Ho Chi Minh City; Continue to work closely with relating Provincial People's Committees to settle the existing problems in site clearance of Phan Thiet - Phu My 2 220kV projects and connecting line of Song May 500 kV Substation.
EVN also directed the subsidiaries to focus on speeding up power projects for Hanoi such as Hiep Hoa - Dong Anh - Bac Ninh 2 500/220 kV line, Hoa Binh – West Hanoi 220kV line, West Hanoi, Long Bien, Dong Anh substations, etc.
Reportedly, in the first 6 months of 2016, EVN has commenced 72 projects of 110-500 kV power grids, including 01 project of 500 kV, 07 projects of 220 kV and 64 projects of 110 kV.
