Connected customer care for electricity users in 22 provinces and cities in the South

The Customer Care Center of the Southern Power Corporation and the Customer Care Center of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation have signed a cooperation agreement on the connection and reception of calls from electricity users. Accordingly, from February 1, 2021, two call centers will be connected, receive calls and take care of customers of both Corporations.

The two centers will receive, respond and coordinate to handle requests from electricity users of both Power Corporations about electricity services according to the business process of Vietnam Electricity (EVN).

This cooperation helps improve the efficiency of customer care activities of both Corporations, ensuring that the customer care call centers work stably and support each other when local call overloads occur.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Phi - Deputy Director of EVNSPC Customer Care Center said that after a lot of discussions about the cooperation, the two centers have agreed to pilot the cooperation in such services as: power outage notification, electrical safety and power failure report. Thus, electricity customers in 22 Southern provinces and cities can call the numbers: 1900.9000 - 1900.1006 (of the Southern Power Corporation) or 1900.545454 (of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation).

The cooperation protocol between the two centers has been concurred, clearly stating the specific responsibilities of each party in the processes of receiving, processing and providing information in order to ensure that the response to customers’ requests is complete, accurate and timely when customers contact the call centers.
