Dong Nai PC currently has more than 840,000 customers, which means that all the related records of power trading need to be archived. In addition, every year, the number of new customers of the Company also increased by more than 40,000 customers averagely. Before 2016, all documents of power purchase and sale contracts of customers were stored manually at stores of 11 power companies in the province. “This means that dozens of stores recording customers purchasing power at Power plants are always overloaded, which can affect the storage quality. At the same time, it still takes a long time to search and extract the needed information, also, the manual storage always faces the risk of fire or explosion, etc...,” said Mr. Pham Viet Ai – Dong Nai PC’s Sales Department Manager.

Since 2016, the Company has developed and implemented the project "Developing an electronic storage system of power customer records". By the end of August 2019, more than 97% of power purchase contracts were completely handled and digitized by units in the Company. It is expected that by the end of 2019, the Company will complete the digitization of all current power purchase contracts.
According to Mr. Pham Viet Ai, the application of the digitization program has brought about efficiency upon implementation, helping to simplify procedures for handling customer requests. The Company immediately digitizes the records of new customers at the time of power purchase registration. As a result, the productivity of Dong Nai PC has been significantly improved, reducing the time for searching information and records of customers, and the management is smoothly conducted at all levels of management.
Along with many other power companies in the Group, the digitalization of customer records has created a premise to help Dong Nai PC to provide electricity services in the form of electronic transactions. Accordingly, customers can register for electricity services via the website, customer care App, sign power purchase contracts in the form of OTP code confirmation, provide documents in the form of digital data file, pay your power fees and bills online, etc.
