Dong Van IV 110kV Substation: The project   celebrating the 65th anniversary of Vietnam’s Power Sector Tradition Day

Dong Van IV 110kV transmission line and substation project (in Ha Nam Province) is a project to celebrate emulation events in 2019, including the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's Power Sector Tradition Day (December 21, 1954 – December 21, 2019). The ceremony for hanging the project board is organized by the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) on February 28, 2019.

Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Vice Chairman of Ha Nam People's Committee affirmed that Dong Van IV 110kV transmission line and substation project will contribute to ensuring the stability and continuity in power supply for Dong Van IV industrial area; reducing power loss, preventing overloads on the local grid; contributing to promoting socio-economic development in Kim Bang district in particular and Ha Nam province in general; maintaining social security and safety in the area.

According to the Chairman of Vietnam Power Trade Union - Mr. Khuat Quang Mau, this project obviously demonstrates the sense of responsibility, attentive and effective service of the power industry, meeting the local electricity demand.

Dong Van IV 110kV transmission line and substation project has a total investment cost of VND 125 billion. In particular, the substation has a capacity of 2 x 63MVA, which is equipped with a modern information and SCADA system connecting to the Northern Regional Load Dispatch Center and the Remote Control Center of Ha Nam Power Company.
