EVNCPC performing over 4,000 hotline power repairs

This is one of the outcomes from production and business activities of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) in the first 3 quarters of 2018.

By the end of Quarter 3/2018, all Power companies of EVNCPC have successfully applied hotline technology, completed 2 years ahead of the plan assigned by EVN. Currently, the Corporation has continued to train second hotline teams in Power companies of Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Da Nang, Gia Lai, Phu Yen, Quang Ngai.

All the Corporation’s operation management of the power grid in the first 3 quarters of 2018 fulfilled the plan, of which the power loss was 4.83%, decreasing by 0.36% over the same period in 2017, further decreasing by 0.47% over the plan assigned by EVN (5.3%).

Targets of power supply reliability include: SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) of 701.1 minutes, MAIFI (Momentary Average Interruption Frequency Index) of 4.67 times; SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index) of 6.84 times.

EVNCPC has met sufficient power demand with commercial power output of over 13 billion kWh supplied for customers in 9 months of performance, increasing by 8.42% over the same period in 2017.

The target of EVNCPC in the last months of 2018 is to continuously improve the power supply reliability index and ensure power supply for economic and social development of provinces in Central Vietnam – Central Highlands area.
