Energizing the associated 220kV substation in Pho Noi 500kV substation

On 8 January 2022, the Northern Power Projects Management Board (NPMB) in coordination with the relevant organizations successfully energized the associated 220kV substation in Pho Noi 500kV substation (Van Lam district, Hung Yen province). The project is invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT).

This is a grade I, group B energy project with a total investment cost of more than VND 312 billion. The project’s investment scale is the construction and installation of 2 250MVA transformers and many other associated equipments in the existing Pho Noi 500kV substation.

The project is invested to meet the electricity load demand of Hung Yen province and surrounding areas, and strengthen the power supply for 110kV substations in the area.
