Mr. Pham Dinh Quang, Deputy Director of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant said that this activity was to help people better understand the operation process and management of the plant.
The delegation consisted of 15 inhabitants, representing for hamlet 7, Vinh Phuc village, Vinh Tan commune, Tuy Phong district. The visitors were introduced to the plant operation process, operation of coal receiving system, control and treatment of fly ash, exhaust fumes and waste water. The delegation visited Central control house, directly viewed online environmental parameter and visited coal receiving port, circulating water canal and coal storehouse.
At the same time, the plant’s leaders also answered the questions about operating and ensuring environmental sanitation of the plant.

Under the direction of EVN, quarterly, people as well as the local authorities shall be invited to visit the plant and supervise the environmental protection there.
There are 2 generator units in Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant with a total capacity of 1,200MW invested by EVN. The plant belongs to Vinh Tan Power Center, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. From officially being put into operation to 14 November 2019, the plant generated 13.7 billion kWh to the national power grid, contributing to ensure national energy security and socio-economic development, especially for the Southern region.
