The business trip is a part of the cooperative program between the two countries’ Electricity Trade unions to exchange their experiences, learn new and creative activities and movements in caring and protecting the legal and legitimate rights of workers.

At the working session, Mr. Vo Quang Lam expressed his honor to receive the delegation led by Mr. Sharav Munkhjargal - Chairman of the Base Trade Union of Ulaanbaatar heating system company and Mr. Oyundorj Barkhuu - Deputy Chairman of Mongolia’s Trade union of Electricity, Geology and Mining as well as members of the delegation.
The Central Power Corporation has 23 member units, including 13 power companies with the function of supplying electric power to 13 Central – Central Highlands provinces, accounting for 1/3 of the country’s territory. Over the past years, the Corporation has applied many solutions to raise its labour productivity, so that the life and income of its staffs and employees have been continuously improved.
The Mongolia’s Trade union of Electricity, Geology and Mining bears the main function of protecting the labour rights and legitimate rights of the workers in the electricity, geology and mining sectors. Currently, the trade union has had over 37,500 members and 121 unit unions. The income of workers in Electricity and Mining sector is 1.6 times higher than the average income of workers in Mongolia, etc.
