Quang Ninh province: 15 households in Tran island have been electrified by solar energy

Quang Ninh Power Company (Quang Ninh PC) has completed the installation of 15 solar panel kits (worth about VND 70 million/kit) for 15 households residing on Tran island (Thanh Lan commune, Co To island district).

Tran island is an outpost island in the Northeast, more than 70km from the mainland. Due to its isolated location, the national power grid has not been able to reach there. With a capacity of 1kWp per kit, the solar panel system will contribute to enabling households on Tran island to have electricity for daily uses.

This is a subproject under the Project on electrifying residential zones with less than 20 households in Quang Ninh province, invested by Quang Ninh PC, and funded by the provincial budget. The purpose of the project is to improve the quality of people's lives, develop the local economy, and contribute to ensuring the political - social security and safety in remote areas.
