Buon Tua Srah Hydropower Plant Reservoir

The results show that from the beginning of the dry season to July 2025, Buon Kuop Hydropower Company has effectively implemented the movement, contributing to ensuring national energy security during the dry season of 2025.

In particular, the Company has implemented synchronous solutions on operation management and major repairs, maintenance of equipment of generators, conducted on-call troubleshooting, and quickly resolved abnormal phenomena during the operation of the plants. Generators of Buon Kuop, Buon Tua Srah, and Srepok 3 hydropower plants are all periodically maintained according to the RCM method (Reliability-Centered Maintenance method), ensuring quality and progress, and hot spare parts are well controlled. Thanks to that, the equipment systems operate stably and reliably, contributing to improving the efficiency of power production of the plants.

Moreover, with relatively favourable hydrological conditions, the economic and technical indicators in the emulation period all reached and surpassed the plan: the availability coefficient for the whole period reached 91.97%, the electricity output was 965 million kWh, reaching 147% of the launch target (665 million kWh). The company ensures that there are no fires or occupational accidents, and especially performs well in exploiting the reservoir, ensuring water supply downstream during the dry season.
