GE Vernova is currently implementing plans to invest in the construction of a new grid equipment manufacturing plant in Hai Phong, with a total investment of approximately USD 200 million. The project is expected to create hundreds of jobs and support the regional supply chain for power equipment. The plant is scheduled to begin operations in 2027, serving the demand for grid upgrades and large-scale power transmission projects.

In addition, GE Vernova also introduced several technological solutions in the fields of high-efficiency gas turbines, power grids, and emerging energy technologies. Company representatives affirmed their readiness to support Vietnam in developing gas-fired power projects and enhancing the operational efficiency of the power system, in line with the development orientation of the revised National Power Development Plan VIII.
