Representing Dong Bac Corporation was Colonel Do Manh Kham, Commander of Army Corps 19, Chairman and General Director of the Corporation.

The agreement aims to establish a comprehensive, long-term, and effective coordination mechanism for supplying coal to EVN’s thermal power plants. Dong Bac Corporation commits to providing EVN with a stable coal supply, on schedule, and in accordance with quality and pricing regulations.

The two parties agreed to establish a Joint Steering Committee for coal supply to power generation, which will directly oversee and coordinate all aspects of coal import, blending, processing, transportation, reception, and utilization for electricity production.

EVN will direct its power generation units to closely coordinate in providing technical information and coal demand data, while Dong Bac Corporation will proactively prepare supply sources, transportation plans, and necessary conditions to fulfill its commitments.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, EVN Chairman Dang Hoang An emphasized that the cooperation agreement between EVN and Dong Bac Corporation marks an important step toward the professionalization of each party’s operations and contributes to ensuring national energy security. EVN’s leadership urged both sides to promptly complete the necessary procedures for implementation, while maintaining an effective, unified coordination mechanism in management, supervision, and timely resolution of any arising issues.
