The projects commissioned include: rehabilitation of the double-circuit Hoa Khanh – Cau Do 110kV transmission line (VT425 – VT444); improvement of the operational capability of the Xuan Ha 110kV branch line (VT444 – Xuan Ha 110kV substation); rehabilitation of the Phu My – My Thanh and Phu Cat – An Nhon 110kV transmission lines (the remaining section, including newly constructed 110kV feeders connected downstream of Phu My 220kV substation); capacity upgrades for the Ea Kar and Ia Grai 110kV substations; and installation of a second transformer at Tuy An 110kV substation.

The projects have a combined scope of 30.9km of 110kV transmission line rehabilitation and 120MVA of transformer capacity upgrades, with a total investment of VND 282 billion.

In particular, to promptly meet the increasing load demand and ensure the schedule of urgent projects, EVNCPC directed the Central Power Grid Project Management Board (CPCNPMU) and Da Nang Power Company to implement a range of coordinated measures, mobilize personnel and equipment, and optimize construction arrangements. As a result, the schedules of three projects were accelerated by 3–4 months compared with the original plans: the Ea Kar 110kV substation capacity upgrade, Hoa Khanh – Cau Do 110kV transmission line rehabilitation, and operational capability enhancement of the Xuan Ha 110kV branch line.

In September, EVNCPC will focus on completing key projects, including the connection of downstream feeders from An Khe 220kV substation, Cam Ranh Airport, Gia Nghia, and Truong Hai 110kV substations, the capacity upgrade of the Nha Trang Center, and a number of other important power grid projects.

The completion and commissioning of the six 110kV projects on or ahead of schedule not only demonstrate the efforts and determination of EVNCPC's affiliated units, but also play an important role in strengthening power supply capacity and improving the operational reliability of the power system. The projects will help promptly meet rising load demand in Da Nang City, Dak Lak, and Gia Lai, while contributing to socio-economic development and ensuring energy security in the region.
