EVNGENCO2 Youth Union pioneering social welfare and gratitude activities

In December 2025, the Youth Union of Power Generation Corporation 2 (EVNGENCO2) implemented a series of meaningful activities in many localities, affirming the pioneering spirit of youth in fulfilling community responsibility and nurturing revolutionary traditions.
On December 18, the EVNGENCO2 Youth Union organized social welfare activities in conjunction with newly commenced wind power projects in Quang Tri and Khanh Hoa provinces.

In Huong Phung commune (Quang Tri province) and Cong Hai commune (Khanh Hoa province), EVNGENCO2 Youth Union donated a total of VND 100 million to build Solidarity Houses for two disadvantaged families. In addition, Youth Union members organized the planting of commemorative trees at the Huong Phung 1 and Cong Hai 1 wind power project sites (Phase 2), demonstrating the youth’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainable energy development.
Continuing the spirit of volunteerism, on the morning of December 21st, in Vinh Xuan commune (Vinh Long province), the EVNGENCO2 Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Unions of the following units: the Political Academy of Region IV, Can Tho University, the Office of Military Region 9, the State Audit Office of Region V, and the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union, organized a program to visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries.

Delegation visiting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers
On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Vo Thi Ba, Tran Thi Tu Bien, and Huynh Thi Choi, as well as 34 families of former revolutionary prisoners in the area.
This series of activities not only helps to cultivate the spirit of "Drinking water, remembering the source" but also contributes to spreading the image of the youth of the power sector as friendly, responsible, and always closely connected with the people and local authorities throughout the country.
