EVNSPC signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on power supply cooperation with KN Holdings Group

On the morning of December 19, in Dong Nai Province, within the framework of the kickoff ceremony for the Bau Can - Tan Hiep Industrial Park infrastructure construction and business investment project, the Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) and KN Holdings Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on investment cooperation for power supply to the Bau Can - Tan Hiep Industrial Park.
According to the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), EVNSPC and KN Holdings Group have agreed to coordinate closely in the planning and investment of electrical infrastructure to serve the Bau Can - Tan Hiep Industrial Park. Both parties will enhance information exchange to develop and implement power supply plans that align with power development master plans, industrial park development master plans, and the project's investment attraction schedule.
EVNSPC commits to directing its member units to invest in 110kV substations as planned to supply electricity to the Bau Can – Tan Hiep Industrial Park. This includes renovating and upgrading the medium and high-voltage grid systems to ensure a safe, stable, and uninterrupted power supply for the entire industrial park throughout its development phases. Furthermore, EVNSPC will guarantee power quality and supply reliability for secondary investors operating within the park.
The two parties also agreed to collaborate on studying and implementing solutions for energy efficiency and the development of clean and renewable energy. This is in line with the vision of developing the Bau Can - Tan Hiep Industrial Park as a green industrial park, a next-generation, environmentally friendly model.

In addition, KN Holdings Group is responsible for coordinating in provision of information regarding load demands and infrastructure investment progress. The Group will also create favorable conditions for the power sector during the survey, investment, construction, management, and operation of the grid serving the industrial park.
