EVN’s Vice President Nguyen Dinh Phuoc receives and works with General Director of HSBC Vietnam

On the afternoon of June 12th in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuoc, Vice President of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), met and worked with Mr. Tim Evans, General Director of HSBC Vietnam, to discuss opportunities for financial cooperation for several energy projects of EVN and its member units.
According to Tim Evans, HSBC Vietnam is currently financing the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), with plans to sign the loan agreement by the end of June. In addition, the bank is actively exploring the possibility of securing funding for several other key projects.

HSBC Vietnam leaders affirmed their desire to continue partnering with EVN in implementing key energy projects through appropriate and sustainable financial solutions.
On behalf of EVN, Vice President Nguyen Dinh Phuoc expressed thanks to HSBC Vietnam for its interest in EVN's projects and those of its member units; and shared the investment orientation for developing power sources and grids to meet the electricity demand for socio-economic development.
Both sides agreed to continue exchanging information and exploring suitable cooperation opportunities in the future.
