National grid reaches last village in Lao Cai province right before At Ty Lunar New Year

On January 23, Lao Cai Power Company in coordination with relevant units energize and supply national grid power to Lech Mong Village (Thanh Binh Commune, Sa Pa Town, Lao Cai Province), marking the milestone that all villages in the province have access to the national grid.
The project "Supply power to Lech Mong Village, Thanh Binh Commune, Sa Pa Town" invested by the Department of Industry and Trade of Lao Cai province, includes: 1.3km of 35kV medium-voltage line, 1.8km of 0.4kV low-voltage line, 1 substation with a capacity of 250kVA - 35/0.4kV, and 56 single-phase electronic meters. The total investment of the project is nearly VND 3 billion.

Mr. Chao Lao Cau, Chairman of Thanh Binh Commune People's Committee said: “This is an event that local people have waited for many years. With electricity, people's lives will improve, promoting local economic development. Living conditions will be improved, children will have light to study, and production and business will be more convenient. This is truly the most meaningful gift on the occasion of the Lunar New Year”.
