Surpassing plan for commencement and energization of works

In 2025, EVNSPC commenced construction on a 220kV work and 69 110kV works, achieving 102.9% of the plan assigned by EVN; 88 110kV works were energized, achieving 102.3% of the plan assigned by EVN; 623 medium and low voltage power grid works were completed; the total completed investment value reached VND 16,786 billion, achieving 101.6% of the plan assigned by EVN; of which, the net investment value reached VND 14,329 billion, equivalent to 102% of the plan.

This has significantly contributed to enhancing power supply capacity to support socio-economic development in eight southern provinces and cities, further affirming EVNSPC’s important role in fulfilling the mission of ‘Electricity One Step Ahead.

Notably, in December 2025, in conjunction with the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, EVNSPC inaugurated three works: the Long Thanh Airport 110kV Substation (Dong Nai province), the Tam Vu 2 110kV Substation (Tay Ninh province), and the Thoi Binh 110kV Substation (Ca Mau province); and commenced construction on two works: the Phu Quoc 220kV Substation and the Lai Son 110kV Substation (An Giang province).

Previously, in the first four months of the year, EVNSPC successfully energized and completed 50 110kV power grid works, achieving practical accomplishments to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the Unification of the Country, and the 50th anniversary of EVNSPC's construction and development (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The achievements in 2025 clearly demonstrate EVNSPC’s management and operational capacity, as well as its ability to organize and implement projects in a decisive, systematic, and effective manner amid increasingly stringent requirements for schedule, quality, and legal compliance in investment and construction.

2026 – Taking Lead and Paving Way for Development

As 2026 begins, EVNSPC continues to demonstrate a proactive mindset - always one step ahead - especially in investment and construction. According to the plan, EVNSPC strives to commence construction on 77 works and energize 83 works, with a total investment of approximately VND 17,260 billion. This meets the demands of double-digit growth while ensuring a reliable power supply to industrial zones, facilitating the evacuation of renewable energy capacity, and fulfilling key political tasks.

In particular, based on the plan assigned by EVN, EVNSPC proactively sets higher internal operational targets, striving to energize 51 projects by April 30, 2026, as a meaningful celebration of the Corporation's 51st anniversary.
