Under the regulations, when a customer installs a meter, he/she shall have to pay all the costs for materials and labours installing the electrical wires from the meters to their house (except for no-fuse breaker for meter protection). In case the customer hires the power company to install the meter, the customer shall pay all the costs plus taxes and fees as stipulated by the State.
Deploying the Customer Appreciation Program, Binh Thuan Power Company assisted 100 poor households VND 200 million to purchase equipment, install the meters free of charge for them in the province. This is a practical act of the company to help impoverished households and bring a safe power source to all customers. The program has received positive feedback from the community.
