In which, the dismantling of the cofferdam was completed on June 7, 2024, completing the construction of the diversion canal (an important critical path of the Project), basically completing excavation and reinforcing the channel to the water intake, and basically installing equipment items in all rooms.

It was determined by the contractors that the third quarter of 2024 will be the time to accelerate, to ensure the generation of 2 power units by the end of 2024 and bring the project to its scheduled destination. Therefore, contractors will be highly determined, concentrate their human resources, make the best efforts, and commit to completing the project following the required schedule.

The contractors need to increase their labor forces, working in 3 shifts, 4 crews as the volume of machine installation work is very large and speeds up equipment handover. Ialy Hydropower Company, EVN Repair Service Center, and production preparation force continue to coordinate closely and provide good support for construction on the construction site, and so on.
