At the meeting, Mr. Tan See Leng - Minister of Labor and Second Minister of Industry and Trade of Singapore expressed his wish that Vietnam and Singapore would have opportunities to cooperate effectively in the energy area based on the strengths of each party. Vietnam has abundant potential for electricity development, especially renewable energy sources, in which EVN is a large enterprise playing an important role in ensuring electricity supply for the country; meanwhile, Singapore has economic resources and competent human capital in this area.

On the side of Vietnam Electricity - Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan, President and CEO, thanked the Minister of Labor cum the Second Minister of Industry and Trade of Singapore and the delegation for their interest in the energy sector in Vietnam.
The leader of EVN affirmed that EVN would create the best conditions within its authority to develop cooperation opportunities with Singapore in the energy area in the coming time.
