On the side of Vietnam Electricity and two member units of EVN, the meeting was attended by Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong - a member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Electricity; Mr. Pham Hong Phuong - Vice President of EVN; Ms. Do Nguyet Anh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVNNPC; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan – a member of the Board of Directors of EVNNPT.

Regarding the power supply situation, in the period 2016-2020, commercial power in the whole province has grown by an average of 10.41%/year. The Power sector has basically ensured the power supply to serve the socio-economic development of the province and the people's daily needs. Up to now, 99.92% of households in Tuyen Quang province have access to the national power grid, of which 100% are in urban areas and 99.89% in rural areas.
Regarding the load component, the proportion of industrial load in Tuyen Quang province accounts for about 42%. The power supply situation to industrial parks and industrial clusters in recent years has been basically ensured.
Regarding investment in 110kV and medium and low voltage power grids, in the period of 2021 - 2025, Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) has been investing in 9 110kV power grid projects. In addition, Tuyen Quang Power Company under EVNNPC has been implementing in many medium and low voltage power grid works with a total value of over VND 886 billion.
In the coming time, based on the plan to develop the power supply network in the master plan of Tuyen Quang province, EVN shall direct the units to implement the works to meet the demand for load development in the province.
EVN suggested the Tuyen Quang PPC and People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province continue facilitating, supportting, and closely coordinating with EVN's units in the investment and construction of power works following the Master Plan VIII and the Provincial Plan; direct departments and agencies coordinating and supportting EVNNPC in compensation for site clearance, approval of investment policies and investors for power grid projects started before 2023 and being implemented, as well as the power grid projects that shall be implemented in Tuyen Quang province following the provisions of the Investment Law.
EVN also suggested Tuyen Quang province include the expanded Tuyen Quang hydropower plant project in the Implementation Plan of Master Plan VIII for the period of 2021-2030; publicize and promulgate overall reports, power grid diagrams, sizes and plans for connection of 110kV power works as the basis for implementing investment projects in the area.
