EVN is honored to be one of 07 enterprises and non-business units that have won the Excellent Digital Transformation Enterprise award thanks to EVN's contributions in contributing to promoting digital transformation and development of Vietnam's digital economy.
For many years, EVN has promoted the application of technologies of Industrial Revolution 4.0 in operating production and business, especially in 2021, the Group has promoted digital transformation programs with the theme of the year "Digital transformation in Vietnam Electricity". By the end of 2022, it is expected to complete the key tasks basically, other tasks have also reached over 80% of the implemented volume. Typical digital transformation application solutions to help EVN become an excellent digital enterprise in 2022 that has been honored by the Organizing Committee of this contest include:
(i) Construction Investment Management Software System (Construction 2.0 – IMIS 2.0);
(ii) Solution for EVN electronic portal and digitizing office administration (EVNPortal)
(iii) Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) Solution
(iv) Application to serve employees in Vietnam Electricity (SmartEVN)
(v) Solution to integrate with Residential Database through the national public service portal into the electricity customer management information system (CMIS 3.0).
5 solutions are centrally registered in 4 key areas of digital transformation:
1. Area of administration: Currently, 100% of units have applied the Digital - Office system, 100% of reports are circulated in electronic form, 100% of managers are granted digital signatures. EVN has completed the connection between the digital office system (Digital Office) with the national document interconnection axis and officially used it from January 1, 2020, without using paper documents, connecting to nearly 200 agencies, including the Government, ministries, branches, central and local administrative agencies.
2. Area of construction investment: towards digitizing activities in construction investment such as electronic work diary, electronic acceptance records and electronic project file management, etc. In the first 3 months of 2022, 2,950 projects have applied electronic records, 1,207 projects have applied digital signatures, and 160 projects have applied electronic work diaries. Other items have been also deployed: completing testing and deploying AI in image analysis and construction supervision and applying new technologies such as 3D, UAV, BIM from the phase of design survey to the phase of project implementation.
3. Area of manufacturing: completing updating 97.3% of electrical equipment data in operation at plants, transmission lines from 110kV to 500kV. In the repair and maintenance of efficient exploitation of equipment, the Group has applied advanced repair methods such as RCM (reliability-centered maintenance) for plants and CBM (condition-based maintenance) of the power grids. In particular, the application of AI in image analysis was successfully tested, in order to improve the accuracy of the AI system in identifying 20 equipment objects on the line for serving the operation monitoring and detecting the abnormal status of transmission lines.
4. Area of business and customer service: the number of installed electronic meters nationwide reached approximately 21.1 million/29.7 million meters, reaching 70.9%, which is an important basis for collecting and exploiting data to serve customers. Online electricity services have achieved very positive results such as 9.4 million customers participating in online transactions at level 4 in 2021, reaching 99%, 6.6 million records processed in the network environment by electronic method, over 3.7 million contracts with new customers by electronic Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) reaching the rate of 99%, non-cash payment of electricity bills reached 96.97%. In the first 7 months of 2022, EVN received nearly 8.4 million electricity service inquiries, of which 99.9% were mainly received through the National Public Service Portal, Public Administration Center, Customer Service Center/Customer Service Website/Customer Service App. By 2 services "New power supply from the low-voltage grid" and "Change of power purchase agreement subject" on the National Public Service Portal, there have been 875,300 service inquiries, of which 232,500 turns of customers have exploited information shared from the residential database and 27,300 turns of information exploitation about households in the residential database.
In addition to the above four key areas, EVN has been implementing other tasks to improve telecommunications infrastructure capacity, apply digital technology platforms in exploiting and deploying information technology (IT) services; Build an IT foundation and architecture, a flexible digital ecosystem, maximize the exploitation of shared services and data to accelerate the process of building and implementing digital transformation programs in EVN. These solutions contribute to helping EVN strive to basically complete digital transformation in 2022 and create a premise to operate the Group under the digital business model by 2025. The strong and right implementation of digital transformation has created great momentum for EVN, maximizing service utilities for electricity customers.
