The project has a total capacity of 3 kWp and a total investment cost of VND 80 million; of which EVNHCMC Youth Union sponsors VND 50 million. The remaining amount is financed by the solar power equipment supplier.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, the acting Director of Go Vap Center for Children Sponsorship shared, the Center now has to pay more than 50 million VND for electricity bills. The meaningful gift of EVNHCMC Youth Union will help the Center save some electricity costs, which means an additional budget for buying supplies for children.
Ms. Dang My Ly, Secretary of EVNHCMC Youth Union said that, until now EVNHCMC Youth Union has implemented 7 rooftop solar power projects at no cost for schools, centers of nurturing disabled and disadvantaged children in the City.
In 2019, EVNHCMC Youth Union aims to install at least 10 such free solar power projects to help improve conditions of caring disabled children.
