The project consists of a length of 19.8km, including 78 pillars, passing through the two districts of Chau Duc (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) and Cam My (Dong Nai province). The project has a total investment of VND 93 billion, using credit loans from the German Reconstruction Bank (KfW).
The project was commenced on 12 September 2016. During the construction process, the project faced many difficulties in compensation and site clearance issues. However, thanks to the drastic guidance of the People's Committees of the two provinces of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai and the Southern Power Corporation, the close coordination of the Southern Power Project Management Board and construction and public works units, the Ngai Giao - Cam My 110kV transmission line has been completed, energized and accepted and put into operation on schedule.
The Work plays an important role in connecting the grids, creating a continuous loop to meet the power supply needs of Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Dong Nai provinces.
