Mr. Bui Xuan Thanh-Deputy Director of Ha Nam Power Company said, defining electricity should be one step ahead is the important factor to attract investment. The People’s Committee of Ha Nam province determined to require the power sector to supply electricity to the fences of industrial zones (IZ), ensure sufficient electricity with high reliability, help businesses assure production.
The commitment "to provide enough electricity for 24/24 hours to enterprises" is a huge pressure on Ha Nam Power Company. However, overcoming many difficulties, HanamPC has gradually improved its grid system; promoted investment and repair, satisfying the demand for electricity of the investors, especially the foreign enterprises from Japan, South Korea who always have very high and strict requirements power quality.
On average each year, HanamPC invested about VND 300 billion to upgrade, rehabillitate and develop the power grid. To date, for the 110 kV grid, there are 12 substations under operation with total capacity of 520.5 MVA and three key projects under construction serving large customers.
Not only to ensure enough electricity with high reliability, HanamPC also counsels the Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee to direct enterprises implementing periodic testing for electrical equipment. Previously, the enterprises often have the habit of using electrical equipment until damage without testing or until faults happen and call the power company to fix the fault. Currently, with the proactive participation of the People’s Committee of Hanam province, Department of Industry and Trade, the Project Management Board of Industrial Zones and Power Company, the enterprises strictly implement periodic testing and reduce electric faults. At the same time, the Ha Nam province also requires that all customers in the Industrial Zone to install circuit breakers in order that when faults happen at one enterprise, it will not affect other enterprises, which contributes to improve the reliability of electricity supply.
Proactively provide service for customers
In addition to stably supply power with high reliability, Hanam PC is also constantly improving the quality of customer service.
Mr. Bui Xuan Thanh shares, the customers in the industrial zones, especially cement factories have high frequency of faults. To reduce this situation, Ha Nam PC purchase one vehicle for hotline insulator washing and cleaning of other equipment without cutting power. The customers that have the service contract with the power company will be given priority in providing services. For the customers who have not had service contract with power company, we are ready to suppor tthem to minimize the faults on the power grid. Ha Nam power company wants to proactively provide the best service to customers.
In addition, Ha Nam Power Company has constantly reduced time of power access. In 2017, the company set a goal to shorten the time of power access, no more than 7 working days after receiving sufficient documents from customers. All the information, process for power supply are uploaded on the website of the company for the customers to follow up.
