Affixing name board on project 'Renovation of Hoa Xa 110kV Substation' to celebrate 50th anniversary of Liberation of the South and National Reunification

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) organized the name board affixing for the project "Renovation of 110kV Hoa Xa Substation" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Phan Chi Tam - Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Labour Federation, Mr. Uong Quang Huy - Vice President of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, Mr. Bui Hai Thanh - Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC, and delegates of units and contractors.

According to Mr. Bui Hai Thanh - Deputy General Director of EVNHCMC, the project "Renovation of Hoa Xa 110kV Substation" is a key project, marking a step forward in modernizing the city's power grid. The project has taken on an extremely important task to ensure power supply for Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat Airport, while improving the reliability of power supply to Phu Nhuan District, Binh Thanh District, and neighbouring areas, meeting the criteria for unmanned operation.
The project is invested at a capital amount of more than VND 249.5 billion, renovating the Hoa Xa 110kV Substation from outdoor technology to advanced GIS (Geographic Information System) technology. The project started on June 24, 2022, and was officially energized on March 20, 2025.
The project "Renovation of Hoa Xa Substation 110kV" completed and put into operation on schedule not only ensures power supply for the area but also contributes to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the National Reunification; is a testament to the continuous efforts of EVNHCMC in bringing the City closer to the goal of becoming a leading smart and modern urban area in the region.
