On January 16, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) held a conference on reviewing Party and professional work in 2024 and deploying tasks for 2025. The conference was co-chaired by Mr. Nguyen Thanh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Ngo Tan Cu - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, General Director.

Impressive results gained in 2024

In 2024, EVNCPC achieved many impressive results, reflecting its outstanding efforts in cost savings and resource optimization. The Corporation has effectively implemented solutions to ensure a safe and stable power supply, serving economic and social development and people's lives in the Central Highlands provinces.

Maximum capacity in 2024 will reach 4,120.8 MW, commercial electricity will reach 25,451.5 million kWh, up 10.8% compared to that in 2023. Power supply reliability will continue to be improved and enhanced. EVNCPC also promotes the application of advanced technologies, such as smart grid management system (DMS), and completes many important construction investment projects, ensuring safety and efficiency in grid operation.

In business and customer service, the rate of non-cash electricity payments reached 99.99%, 11.87% higher than the plan and 0.25% higher than in 2023.

In 2024, EVNCPC’s member units also actively participated in the movement of renovation and application of science and technology in production and business. The Corporation was recognized with 5 EVN-level initiatives, 118 EVNCPC-level initiatives, and 280 grassroots-level initiatives. In addition, the entire Corporation won 2 Second Prizes, 2 Third Prizes, and 1 Encouragement Prize at the Vietnam Science and Technology Renovation Awards (VIFOTEC).

EVNCPC pays special attention to social security work, spending more than VND 23.6 billion on activities such as building charity houses, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, taking care of policy families, supporting livelihoods and lighting up rural roads, and so on.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, President and CEO of EVN Nguyen Anh Tuan acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements made by EVNCPC in 2024, especially in reducing 110kV incidents and ensuring labor safety and traffic safety. He also praised EVNCPC for its efforts to overcome the consequences of storms and floods and for participating in key projects of EVN such as participating in the construction of the 500kV line, circuit 3, from Quang Trach - Pho Noi and supporting the handling of incidents caused by Storm No. 3 in Quang Ninh.

Deploying tasks in 2025

President and CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan emphasized that in 2025, EVNCPC needs to maintain and develop solutions to apply science and technology in management, operations, and production and business; and perform well in labor safety.

In 2025, in terms of professional work, the Corporation will focus on 8 main groups of solutions: Ensuring safe and stable operation of the power system; continuing to improve the quality of customer services; investing in developing an effective distribution grid; managing finances, preserving and developing capital; developing high-quality human resources, promoting renovation; effectively applying science and technology to production and business; strengthening the building of a good image and reputation of EVNCPC; developing corporate culture and building a strong, reputable and professional EVNCPC brand.

To successfully carry out the tasks, EVNCPC’s General Director Ngo Tan Cu requested all employees to seriously implement "10 no's" in 2025, including No work accidents, traffic accidents; no violations of the law; no subjective incidents; no units failing to complete tasks; no reduction in workers' income; no unachieved economic and technical targets; no loss of internal solidarity; no major, serious problems; no one losing their jobs after rearrangement and restructuring; and no negativity, corruption, or wastefulness in performing tasks.
