At the meeting, Mr. Brandon Chia - General Director of Southeast Asia and Australia thanked EVN for welcoming the delegation.

Mr. Brandon Chia shared about the results of SP Group's operations in the Vietnamese market in recent times. Currently, SP Group's member unit owns 165MWp of solar power farms in Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Gia Lai provinces and 100MWp of rooftop solar power to sell electricity to plants and workshops.

On this occasion, the leaders of the two sides also spent time exchanging information on renewable energy development in Vietnam in general.

EVN and SP Group are both members of the Southeast Asia Power Industry Leadership Forum (HAPUA). Through the HAPUA forum, the parties had the opportunity to share information and experience in developing the electricity industry in each country and coordinate to promote ASEAN grid connection and multilateral electricity trading.
