The  Do Luong – Nam Cam 220kV transmission line project, invested by EVNNPT, with a total investment of nearly VND 557 billion, is built in the districts of Do Luong, Nghi Loc, and Hung Nguyen of Nghe An province.

The scale of construction includes 2 circuits of a 220kV line from the Do Luong 220kV substation to the Nam Cam 220kV substation with a length of about 37 km. The section from G4 - G6 (length of line about 4 km) is built with 4 circuits to combine with 2 circuits of Do Luong - Nam Dan 110kV transmission line.

The bay extension at the  Do Luong 220kV Substation will install equipment for 2 220kV bays in the 220kV Do Luong Substation (existing) and connect the information system for the  Do Luong - Nam Cam 220kV line.

According to Mr. Le Xuan Hoa - Director of CPMB, the project is of great significance in ensuring power supply for the vibrant economic development area of Nghe An province and its rapid electricity growth, along with serving to release power capacity from Laos to Vietnam according to the commitment of the two governments.

It is known that, up to now, Nghe An province has handed over 68/104 foundation locations (reaching 65.3%), of which Do Luong, Hung Nguyen, and Nghi Loc districts handed over 39/49 locations, 5/5 locations, and  24/50 locations respectively.
