Energizing An Khe 220kV substation and connecting lines

16:05, 23/12/2024

The An Khe 220kV Substation and the connecting 220kV line (Gia Lai province) were energized by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), the Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB) in coordination with related units on the evening of December 21, thereby helping to strengthen power security for Gia Lai province.

The project has a scale of building a new 220/110kV substation with a capacity of 250MVA. The 220kV side is installed equipment for 2 line compartments (connecting circuits separately on the 220kV line from Hung Hai Wind Power Plant to Phuoc An 220kV substation) and 1 transformer compartment operating according to a triangle diagram (designed according to a missing quadrilateral diagram).

The 110kV side is arranged in a schematic diagram of 2 busbar systems with sectionalizing circuit breakers, installing 06 bays (01 total 110kV bay of the 220kV transformer, 04 line bays, and 01 sectionalizing bay).

Control, protection, measurement, metering, communication, and SCADA systems are equipped in accordance with EVN and EVNNPT regulations; and comply with current standards and regulations.

The 220kV connection line section is a new construction of a 02-circuit line from the An Khe 220kV Substation to the center connection point of the 220kV line of the Hung Hai - Phuoc An Wind Power Plant at about column interval of 240-241, about 0.38 km long.

After completion, the project will meet the power supply needs of urban areas, industrial zones of An Khe town, and other loads in the region. At the same time, it will strengthen the connection of the regional power system, and improve the safety, reliability, and stability when operating the regional and national power system. The project also contributes to reducing power loss in the transmission grid, thereby increasing the overall production and business efficiency of EVN.
