Energizing Lap Vo 220kV Substation

The Lap Vo 220kV Substation—a class I energy project invested by the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT)—was successfully energized on December 24. This achievement enhances the capacity to meet power demands for the socio-economic development of Dong Thap Province and its surrounding areas.
The Lap Vo 220kV Substation is newly constructed in Lap Vo Commune, Dong Thap Province. The project includes two 220/110kV transformers with a capacity of 250MVA each. In the initial phase, one transformer (AT1) has been installed, with space reserved for a second transformer.

On the 220kV side, the design includes 08 bays; in this phase, equipment is installed for 03 bays, with space reserved for 05 future bays. On the 110kV side, the design consists of 15 bays; equipment is installed for 05 bays in this phase, with space reserved for 10 future bays. The control, protection, and measurement systems are equipped in accordance with the project scope and the regulations of EVN and EVNNPT, ensuring compliance with current technical standards and regulations.
