Results of 11th EVN Pink Week voluntary blood donation program

From December 8 to 14, 2025, Vietnam Electricity (EVN), in coordination with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT) and medical facilities nationwide, successfully organized the 11th EVN Pink Week, a voluntary blood donation program launched across the entire Group under the message “Millions of Hearts – One Shared Compassion.” This program was also one of the key activities celebrating the 71st anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Power Sector (December 21, 1954 – December 21, 2025), while actively responding to EVN’s annual program “Customer Appreciation Month – December 2025.”
The voluntary blood donation event held at Vietnam Electricity’s headquarters on December 9, 2025, was carried out seriously and in accordance with the planned schedule for each participating unit. At the opening session, nearly 300 units of blood were collected and used to treat patients, especially pediatric patients undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. Following this, EVN’s member units nationwide continued to organize blood donation activities in response to the 11th EVN Pink Week as scheduled.
Over the past 10 years, with 11 consecutive editions of the program, EVN Pink Week has become a familiar cultural activity within the power sector, with the number of EVN employees participating increasing year after year. The total number of blood units collected nationwide during the 11th EVN Pink Week reached 10,864 units. Thus, over 11 years of organizing EVN Pink Week, the program has collected a total of 105,708 units of blood.
