The national power grid was supplied to Sin Chai village, Hoang Lien commune, Sa Pa district, Lao Cai province right before the 2025 New Year.

Sin Chai village is located about 20km from the center of Sa Pa town, with difficult and dangerous roads. The village currently has 42 households, mainly H'mong and Dao ethnic minorities. For many years, the lack of a national power grid has made people's lives difficult, especially in accessing information, applying science and technology, and developing the economy.
